Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park

Day Two Hundred and Eighty Seven. Made the quick jaunt down to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, my favourite spot for looking at ancient redwoods without having to drive hours and hours north. Today was more about spending time with the trees than taking pictures (and by that, I mean, the light was complete crap, haha), but I couldn't not take at least a couple shots of the fire damage from who knows how long ago (could have been hundreds of years ago). The colors and more abstract shapes found inside the trees were absolutely mesmerizing ... and the endless graffiti deeply disheartening ...
