The Batcave & Griffith Observatory

2013.10.13
Day One Hundred and Fifty One. Went hiking with one of my good friends who may one day give Stephen Hawking a run for his money. While there isn't too much hiking in LA proper, the climb up to the original Batcave was still fun. It was cool to see the Hollywood sign, though I completely failed to get a decent picture of it. There was so much dynamic range inside the Batcave, there was an 11 stop difference between the dark frame and the light frame. I think I may have actually pushed HDR Efex Pro 2 a little too hard with it though. The interior of the cave came out great, but the brighter outside regions came out with a rather funky color shift. Oh well. The view from the Griffith Observatory was amazing. Everything they say about Los Angeles sunsets is absolutely true!
